Create a Dashboard in Power BI Service

1. Save and Publish Your Report

To save the report, click File → Save and click Publish → Select a Workspace to upload it to Power BI Service.

2. Go to Power BI Service

Now Open Power BI Service and sign in. Locate the published report in My Workspace.

3. Create a Dashboard

Click on New Dashboard and give it a name. Pin the report’s visuals to the dashboard by clicking on the pin icon.

Sharing the Dashboard

After creating the dashboard, you can share it with others using the following steps,

1. Click on “Share”

Open your dashboard in Power BI Service and click Share.

2. Enter Email Addresses

Add the email addresses to be shared with and Choose permissions (view or edit).

3. Click “Send”

Now, the recipients will get an email with a link to the dashboard.

Embed or Publish Dashboard

To share the dashboard externally, the options available are:

1. Publish to Web

To generate a public link, Click on File → Publish to Web.

Note: The dashboard will be accessible to anyone with the link.

2. Embed in SharePoint or Teams

Use the Embed Code option for SharePoint or Teams integration.

3. Export as PDF or PowerPoint

Click Export to generate a PDF or PowerPoint version.
